Weather Report – 4

Still no snow in Borlänge, Sweden. Seems to stay a degree or two above freezing. Ski resorts are going broke . . . too warm for snow-makers to work. Main while they have snow in Egypt. Climate change?

three days ago we had hard freezes…today it already 59, going for the 70’s, next week..Winter is back…
Mother Nature is shifting I do believe…we are used to the drastic temperature changes in
San Antonio though, one day it can be 90, the next 17….
but it is unusual for us to start as early as we did and the cold stays longer….
I hope the ski resorts get snow….

      Cat,
If you click on and enlarge that photo you will see pipes going up into the air. They spray out a mist of water which freezes and turns into snow, just like regular snow . . . only it is not freezing here. Five above freezing today.
I want to thank you again for telling me that cat poem was a Bukowski poem. I can’t believe I for got that.
I’m a BIG Bukowski fan, read all of his stuff I think.
      Memory almost full!

  3. This is very disappointing Bruce for the likes of people like me – I’ve been looking forward to some picturesque snowy Swedish shots !!!
