      Thank you Panik! The post, Things to Remember, was discovered years ago. Don’t remember where. From the Middle East, I think. Possibly Arabic.
      Things to forget is my own creation, and more difficult than I anticipated. Things to Remember were all positive, while Things to Forget seemed risky.
      So many mistakes and bad experiences have taught us something we needed to learn.

      I am going nuts trying to learn Swedish!

  2. This is brilliant Bruce – I too will print it out and put it in a prominent place….
    Sorry you’re going nuts — it doesn’t show !

  3. This list is a keeper. Thanks for sharing.
    I felt the same confusion with Russian and stopped trying. Too bad you can’t give up. Good luck.

      @Myrah,
      I think I am making some small progress. I gave up on German, Spanish, and Japanese in the past.
      Maybe it’s good for me not to be able to walk away. But it’s killing my writing. Spending hours each day.
