Elephants round up festival in surin Thailand, On 17-18 November 2014

Every year, at the 3rd weekend in November in a city called Surin an Elephant round up takes place. You read right, an Elephant round up. Hundreds of Elephants from Surin and neighboring villages come to Surin.
Elephants have been a central element in the Thai culture since very long time. This festival was celebrated the first time at 1960.If you love elephant and to see them close,don’t miss the event!
